After four years without a Gatecon convention, organizers are once again hosting this fan-favorite event. Gatecon is a fan operated convention which has held events in the UK and in Vancouver Canada. The return of Gatecon will be mainly for European fans as the 2015 event will be in the United Kingdom.
The 2015 Gatecon will be held November 12-15 at the Brentford Lock Holiday Inn in London. As of this writing over 100 Stargate fans have signed up to attend via the Gatecon Facebook Event. Four Stargate media guests have been signed to attend the convention.

Gatecon is the second Stargate themed convention to receive new life. Last year Creation Entertainment announced that they would be continuing their Stargate conventions for 2015. With new feature films in the making it is likely that the convention circuit will continue to heat up.
