Fans of the Stargate franchise now have an official source for interviews and commentary. Today MGM launched the Official Stargate Podcast. The new podcast promises “special guests, events, and some surprises along the way”. While MGM has operated official social Stargate media accounts for years, this is the franchises first official podcast.
The podcast is being hosted by David Read. Mr. Read has contributed to many Stargate related projects over the years, including as a writer for the official Stargate magazine. Prop collectors will remember him as the curator from the PropWorx auctions where many of the iconic props and costumes were sold.
This announcement preceeds the Stargate panel at SDCC where MGM will present their plans for the future of Stargate.
